About the Blacklist Checker

Queries well-known DNS blacklists to see whether an IPv4 address or a domain is listed — the usual explanation when mail is being rejected or silently dropped. A domain is checked on the domain lists and its address on the IP lists.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get removed from a blacklist?
Fix the cause first — an open relay, a compromised account or a bad sending pattern — then use the operator's delisting form. Requesting removal without fixing the cause gets you relisted.
What does "refused the query" mean?
Some lists do not answer queries that come through large DNS resolvers. That is not a listing; check that list on its own website.
